The tax-relief industry loves to make IRS problems sound impossible without them. They're not. I'm Darrin Mish. I've been representing taxpayers before the IRS for 32 years. Let me explain how this actually works.
A self-employed contractor who owed money to the IRS filed an amended return and requested additional time to pay what was owed. The IRS agreed to a collection hold, but still planned to file a lien. Because this would adversely affect the contractor’s credit report, the contractor objected. Taxpayer Advocate Services (TAS) was able to successfully resolve the issue with the IRS on behalf of the contractor to avoid the lien. Click here to read or watch more IRS Help resources.
