Unfortunately, it’s also the time when some people with criminal intent turn to thoughts of IRS or home repair fraud, and several incidents of the former have been reported here already.
“There have been several attempted IRS frauds reported in the county recently,” said Major Terry Hembree, director of criminal investigations at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
