Sometimes the feds will get wind of what they believe to be tax fraud in the oddest of ways. In what may be describes as the biggest tax fraud ever, feds discovered a massive mansion in Pennsylvania while flying over it.

Federal agents simply happened to look down at a 35,000 square foot parcel of property that was rather mind-blowing. Who did it belong to?

James D Pasquale is the defense attorney who is defending Ann Harris. She was the personal secretary to multi-million dollar businessman Joe Nocito. She also plead guilty to being involved in a scheme to steal millions from Nocito.

The money was to be used for mansion costs which would be declared as business expenses. Those business expenses would include the mansion’s upkeep, the cost of maintaining expensive cars, and salaries for the staff.

The mansion was discovered by Federal agents who were flying out of Pittsburgh on a commercial flight. They viewed the mansion from the sky and were completely blown away by its acreage. That led to questions being asked and a follow up investigation.

Tax evasion is nothing to play around with. This is a perfect example of something that was too big to be missed by the Feds.
