It came to light recently that the IRS sent a letter of audit<\/a> and Information Document Request to a group backing financing for properties. This audit notice was sent to the Health, Educational and Housing Facility Board<\/a> of the City of Memphis concerning finances for Serenity Towers.<\/p>\n It should be noted that the Health, Educational and Housing Facility Board claimed that the audit was nothing unusual. It was just a routine audit performed by the IRS. During the audit, the IRS did not find anything that was worth concern. In addition, the IRS established that they did not find anything wrong in their review of the bonds. The Memphis organization is looking forward to receiving a “no charge” letter from the IRS soon and this should end the audit.<\/p>\n The Health, Educational, and Housing Facility Board that was under audit by the IRS is a group of officials that were appointed by the mayor of Memphis.
