The two Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, Teresa and Joe Diudice have been slapped with a hefty tax lien to the tune of $551,563<\/a>. Tax years, unpaid, span a nine-year period from 2000 to 2013. Joe pleaded guilty to a single count of failure to pay taxes and was sentenced to a year in prison. This runs concurrent with a previous 41-month sentence for conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. It seems that he\u2019s up to his neck in troubles. <\/span><\/p>\n Once again, did he have bad advice from his financial advisors, or did he simply ignore good advice? Either way, his life is about to change\u2014and not for the better. It always makes sense to have an expert tax person in your corner. When people can afford a competent tax attorney, and don\u2019t or refuse to hire their services, it can be attributed to bad business acumen<\/a>. It doesn\u2019t make sense, but it\u2019s human nature. The best advice is for anyone to keep a close eye on their financials, and then hire the professionals who understand tax law.<\/p>\n
