You would naturally assume that<\/a> anyone who works for the IRS would be on the up-and-up. Obviously, not every crime that deals with the IRS is a crime against the IRS. A Tennessee grand jury indicated <\/a>an IRS employee who was filmed on video sexually harassing a woman what was going through an IRS tax audit.<\/a> He admitted to checking the woman out on Facebook prior to the assault.<\/p>\n His bail was set at $300,000. Not being able to meet the bail, he remains in jail. The strange thing to many is that his charges are quite serious, and that he is still employed by the IRS. <\/span><\/p>\n By the time his trial is over, and even if convicted, he will have served most of his sentence. However, even after having served time in jail, he could still be open to a civil suit. The IRS would likely be sued in this instance, since he was employed at the time of the assault.<\/p>\n He and the woman he assaulted were the only ones in the business at the time. The IRS has come under some scrutiny for fostering an atmosphere where employees sometimes take advantage of tax payers.<\/p>\n
