I hear from people every week who think their tax problem is the end of the world. It usually isn't. I'm Darrin Mish. I've resolved over $100 million in tax debt for clients. Here's what you should know.<\/p>\n

Federal government employees owe more than $1.14 billion in unpaid taxes in 2014, more than\u00a0the previous\u00a0year’s figure\u00a0by about $65 million. \u00a0This amount was owed by about 113,800 federal workers whereas the delinquent taxes in 2013 was owed by 116,169 employees. \u00a0The 2014 number makes up about 4% of the total workforce of 2.85 million workers in the federal government. \u00a0In contrast, the\u00a0percentage of the taxpaying public who owe back taxes is 8 to 9%, which is about double that of federal employees. \u00a0Click here to watch or read more information on IRS Back Taxes.<\/a><\/p>\n
