administration through the Secretary of the Treasury and tax law. In turn,
he or she is authorized to redelegate the majority of these authorities to
certain subordinates. These redelegations or Commissioners
(or Servicewide) Delegations of Authority are published in the IRM
1.2. series. They can be found in the electronic numerical index at http://publish.no.irs.gov/pubsys/irm/numind.html
under the link to Part 1. These delegations allow the Commissioners
subordinates to act on his/her behalf on certain tax and administrative matters.

delegation
orders. -

are approved. They can be accessed through the IRM Numerical Index athttp://publish.no.irs.gov/pubsys/irm/indp01.htm#chapter2.
